Interference

Description.

TAPER HI-LITE™ (HSTL™) pins have been developed to increase fatigue resistance of metallic structure, thanks to high interference fit assemblies. Even in restricted locations, they can be installed where conventional pulled fastening systems do not fit in the available space.

  • Installation friendly fastener with conventional tooling
  • Up to 2 oversized pins available for repairs

Installation.

The installation process does not require specific tooling. A tapered pin is engaged manually in a tapered hole, interference appears during nut tightening with a conventional nut runner.
