LISI AEROSPACE is actively involved in the helicopter market, supplying various components. Our expertise in critical rotating components allows us to produce, from prototyping to serial production:
- Blades and Metal leading edges for blades,
- Rotor blade sleeves
- Fixed and rotating swashplates.
Our factory in Bologne, France, has developed an expertise in forging swash plates and blade sleeves for helicopters in Metal Matrix Composites (MMC). The MMC consists of a matrix based on Aluminum alloy reinforced by ceramic particles. These MMCs material allows to increase stiffness and fatigue resistance to equal the level of titanium materials for typical rotating parts loading cases.
